Whelp Stone Cragg and Gisburn Forest Sunday 13th janueary 2013 This would have been a decent walk before many of the trees were chopped down on the edge of Gisburn Forest, for a mile or so it was like walking through a warzone !! Start of the walk and we have to go in to Yorkshire !!!! The Dog and Partridge at Tosside The path winds between the trees Before emerging into a barren wilderness. It was really eerie around here. Then on to open Moorland and ahead to Whelp Stone Crag Lots of Mountain Bikers around here A big rock.....with a hole in it !!!
